I think that the video was very cool. I thought that it was very interesting and inspiring. One thing that stood out to me was the cites at night. I did not recognized any continents. The night time images made me think about little LEDs on a rubber ball with mist swarming it. Seeing earth from space in night and day made me feel like it must be amazing to see where you live from outer space.

When I saw the video I saw lots of sparkles on earth poping up at different times. One thing that stood out to me was that on the edges of the earth there was a perimeter of lights.I recognized the u.s.a .When all the night images came on I saw a lot of lights. Most likely they were all the electricity we were using on earth. When I saw earth from above it made me think of how big the earth really is.

I saw a satellite looking down at the earth and I saw lightning. Something that stood out to me was the earth going round and round and while it was spinning I saw storms. I recognized the atlantic and the pacific ocean. I think of my home and my comfy bed. No it didn't because all the earth looks mostly the same even down here not just up there in the sky.

What I saw was a birds-eye view from high above in a space station. One of the things that stood out for me was the big tornado like thing and the city lights. I recognized Africa And South America. When the night time images came on I got tired and wanted to fall asleep. Seeing the world from above during both day and night changed my thinking about the world that we live in because I could really see how cool it is.

One thing I saw was time flash before my eyes. One thing that stood out to me was when the earth was spinning with light around it. One continent I saw was Africa. One country I saw was China. When the night-time images came on, it made me think of stars, shining in the moon light. Seeing the Earth from above during both day and night change didn't make me think about the world that we live in. It made me think, that we were blessed to live on earth and, for what we have.

Aidan A said...

I saw the earth spin and lights all over it. One thing that stood out was when the lighting was on the earth. I did not recognize any continents. It made think how many lights are visible in space. Not really because I've seen earth from space many times in other videos.

In my own words I saw, a lot of colors. Like greens, and reds purples, and golds. What stood out to me was all the gold lights against the black of the earth. I did recognize Australia, and possibly Africa. When the night images came on it made me think about the lights on earth, like the city, house lights and other lights. I knew the earth was really amazing but this video was spectacular.

Well, I think that the video was super cool. Most of the things I saw have to do with the earth rotating and space. One thing that stood out for me was when the satellite rotated around earth. Some of the continents that I noticed were Africa,Asia,North America,Antarctica and Australia. When the night-time mode came on I felt tired. I felt strange. The northern lights were awesome. It changed my point of view of the earth.

I really liked the video. I saw the Earth and the lights of the cities at night. I saw the aurora borealis sort of hovering over the Earth. I thought it was quite beautiful. One thing that stood out to me was the interesting way the city lights looked. In some spots it looked sort of like a web, and I thought that looked really cool. I recognized Africa, Europe and a bit of Asia. I probably did see the Americas, I just didn't know I saw it. The night images made me think about how cool Earth looks at night. I did already know that's what Earth looks like at night, but I still thought it was really cool. I also thought about fireflies. It didn't change how i think of the Earth. I think the video definitely improved my opinion of how the city looks at night.

So that's what I thought of the video.

One part of the Earth that I recognized is our continent, North America. When the night time images came out it made me think, so this is what it looks like at this time of the Earth. Yes, this video did change what I thought about Earth. It is so different from when I am on Earth.

I saw many different things like the northern lights and constellations. One thing that stood out was the northern lights i have always wanted to see them in real life but it was cool seeing them on the video they looked like one colorful stripe crossing the east it also looked like a glow stick. I saw most of the continents i saw Asia and Africa I also saw south and north america. When the image of the night came i thought it was really cool because their was so many stars and we don't see that many stars in the city i only see that many stars when i go in the country. When i saw the earth from that view i thought it was awesome because you only get to see the earth lie that in videos and only sometimes on a plane.

Beatrice D said...

I saw the Earth, clouds, and a bunch of lights. The thing that stood out to me was all the lightning and thunder. I think I saw North America. When the night time images came on it made me think about a Simpsons episode I watched about aliens and space. I don't think seeing the world from above changed my thinking about the world because it looks the same.

What I saw was the each from every angle. It was really cool! The thing that stood out to me was the lightning under the clouds. At first I didn't know what it was but then I figured it out. I did not recognize any parts of earth. When the night time images came on I realized that we use a lot of electricity. Seeing earth at day and night did not give me a different view of the world we live in.

I saw many lights and clouds and the atmosphere. One thing that stood out to me was the thunder and lightning. I did not recognize any continents or countries. When the night time images came on it made me think about one night in Turks & Caicos when we looked up at the stars. No, it did not change my thinking of the world we live in.

What I saw was many lights and colors. I saw beautiful city lights, and the northern lights were a nice shade of green.
What stood out to me the most was the volcano near the start of the video. The smoke plume was just so amazing.
I recognized a part of Australia, and I think Japan and India... I'm not sure.
The night-time images made me think of turning the lights on in the night, when you just light up the room, or in this case, the world.
Seeing the Earth from above during night and day changed my thoughts about the world. I used to think that in the night, the world turned all the lights off, but I know that there are places that have so many lights on, you can see them from space. The day images told me that the world looks so different during the day. The world is either engulfed in darkness, or drenched in sunlight.

G Fung said...

I saw lots of towns and tons of water. I even saw parts of the space ship. One thing that stands out to me was how the space ship went from day to night so quick. I think I might have saw the north pole, but I not sure. When the night-time part came on, it looked like different shapes with tons of lights. It changed the way I saw the Earth because we used more lights then I thought.

Wyatt R said...

I saw lights that were from cities and towns. I also saw thunder. The volcano erupting stood out to me because it looked really awesome. I recognized Italy and Canada. When the night time images came on it made me think of a movie called "Gravity" and I thought about how endless space is. When I saw the Earth from above during day and night I realized how dark it is in some places and how bright it is in others.

Margo V. said...

1) I saw a volcano that was erupting.

2) Seeing the atmosphere.

3) Not really.

4) How industrial the earth is.

5) No.

Grace L. said...

In my own words this video was Earth from a different point of view. It was interesting to see all the places I know from a different point of view. The different oceans and the atmosphere looks like a painting. The glow was a little amazing. When I would see all these different places I couldn't believe it was Earth. One thing that stood out to me was the volcano. At first I thought it was a mountain with smoke around it. Then I learned it was a volcano. I recognized Australia and Russia. Seeing Earth at day and night from up above gave me a different thinking of the world we live in. I know see all the cool lights and the glow.

LeolaB. said...

I saw many lights they were very bright.
One thing that real stood out to me was the huge cloud of ash erupting from the volcano. I did not recognize any countries or continents. When the night time imager came on i thought about dying and being put in a coffin. Seeing the Earth made me not want to use lights because there were already so many lights. And it would cause even more pollution .

1. I saw Earth and space.I also saw different places lighting up.
2. One thing that stood out to me is the way the stadiums lit up.
3. I recognized water
4. It made me think about when I am asleep and when i am dreaming.
5. not really.

AnneM said...

I saw a volcano erupting. I saw the smoke from it rising up towards the camera. I saw the atmosphere, the Earth orbiting, and the lights from earth that were probably cites. The smaller ones were probably towns. What I think was lightning really stood out to me. It looked like lights being turned on and off in different places. I think that I saw Africa because I have a globe in my room and I recognized the shape. When I saw the night time images turn on I Thought about how when in on part of the world it is nighttime, the other part it is daytime. It did not really change my thoughts about the world we live in. It looked like a gam called Pandemic's board.

Sebastian. W said...

I saw Earth from space. I also saw the atmosphere over Earth. The one thing that stood out to me was the atmosphere. It was like a huge ball around Earth. I recognized the north pole because it had no lights and it was all white. I also think I noticed Italy with the boot shape but I am not sure. It made me think about how much light the Earth makes and how you can see it in space. Yes because it showed all the light from Earth.

Nora C. said...

I think that the whole video was really cool. I saw loads of things, like volcanoes erupting and different countries all over the world. I also saw the Atmosphere and sometimes i would see space satellites. Another part that was really cool was when lightning kept flashing (at least I think it was lightning) across the screen in tiny amounts all over. I think that the thing that most stood out to me was the Atmosphere and how it changed colors in different shoots.I did not recognize any parts of the Earth except for the parts Mr.Casal pointed out to us. I think that when the night-time images came on the pictures were less defined but there was some more flashing light all over. When I saw the Earth in daylight I thought of all of the amazing things that the Earth is capable of in so many ways. When I saw the Earth In the night-time photos I thought how beautiful the world is.

HazelB said...

I saw the world in an amazing way. To have that as your job to go up in space and see beautiful things, I am kind of jealous. One thing that stood out to me was was all the flashing and still lights. I recognized 4 places. One was Ireland, the second was France the third was Europe, and the last was The USA. When I saw the night images come on, all I thought was wow! We just see a boring little street all night and day. I thought about how some people just littler and do not take care of this world. From seeing it from above was amazing. Some people never go on vacation, and just stay in their town for their whole lives. Just watching this part of the video is a little vacation for me.

What i saw in this video "Time lapse Earth" was...
I saw the northern lights and a lot of blackness, I also saw a lot of lights from city like our city.

One thing that stood out was the atmosphere in the back round it looked like big green lights and also the northern lights which i said before.

One part that i saw was a continent was Asia, europe, and Australia.

The images from space were really cool all those little lights you can see from space i think is really cool!

When it change from day to night in my opinion i liked the night time better because of all those cool lights and all the darkness in the background.

Ella.F said...

I saw many cool things on the earth. I saw many places I also many bodies of water. I also saw the lights from different parts of land.one thing that really stood out was a volcano. At first I thought it was a cloud.but in the video I did not really identify specific bodies of water or land.i thought it was harder too see or understand what was going on but in my opinion it was cooler too see what the earth that we live on looks like at night time.and seeing the earth from day and night both had different perspectives.

Otto S. said...

I saw a wonderful time-lapse video on the world taken from a satellite. The atmosphere around the world reflecting the light from the cites really stood out to me. Besides the ones Mr. Casal pointed out to us, I didn't know the continents shown in the video. I knew that there were empty places in the world, but not to many until I saw the video. Seeing the day, and night around the world, changed how I thought the places looked like.

Jack B. said...

I saw awesome lights and saw many hard-to-see images from space. One image that really stood out to me was the lightning that appeared and than it instantly disappeared. I think that I saw Africa.

MaggieM. said...

I saw many, many lights. Some were grouped together, and some were so spread out it is hard to tell that they are there. What really stood out to me were these blue-ish, foamy things that looks like they were some sort of clouds. I believe I recognized Africa , though I am not sure because it is really hard to tell. The night images remind me of watching the sun set during the summer at the beach house in Rhode Island that my family rents every year. The video made me apprechate Earth more.

DanielT said...

I saw all the lights going on and off on the land. I saw the atmosphere. I saw space and the things in it. For instance, stars, galaxies, etc. The lights on earth stood out to me.

I saw many amazing things and it made me see nature in a new way, a fascinating and beautiful way.
I saw towns with little but still amazing lights and even a volcano erupting!
The thing that stood out to me was the eruption from the volcano, and it stood to me because it looked like there was a giant ring around the gas like it was holding it in place.
I did not see any places but Mr Casal pointed many out.
Seeing night was amazing because you saw earth in a different way.
Seeing day and night was beautiful from different perspectives.

Erik N. said...

In the video I saw Earths atmosphere and lot of dark spots though there were a lot of little lights. The thing that stood out to me the most was these little very bright spots that cold have been lightning but I they could have been stadiums

Ella N. said...

In the video, I saw lights on. At first, I thought the lights were on land and everywhere where it was dark was water. Mr.Casal explained that the dark spaces were also country lands without bright lights.

What stood out to me was a volcano I saw erupting and all the smoke rising and pushing through a cloud.

I recognized part of the United States with a lot of lights Massachusetts, so knew that I saw New York.

When the night-time images came on I thought about a lot of people sleeping and he moon shining with the stars.
